World angler, acclaimed photographer and fly casting instructor Brian O'Keefe has accepted our invitation to be one of the headliners of the 2009 Great Waters Fly Fishing Expos in Chicago and Minneapolis.
We're extremely pleased that our dates worked for Brian, who represents the energy and excitement of contemporary fly fishing. A world traveler, photographer and writer, Brian's presentations are unrivaled.

I've had the greatest summer of fly fishing this year and have finally begun to feel more comfortable and confident. This is only my 3rd summer of fly fishing and I was able to get out more...that really helped.
I have to tell you it was the "Women in Flyfishing" class you had in MN 3 years ago that opened my eyes to this. I was just a tag-along with my husband and never dreamed of getting involved. Now I look forward to the Expo every year.
Hope you continue with offerings specific to women, as I will be there! I've been so impressed with the caliber of women who have risen to the forefront of fly fishing. They are great role models! It's also wonderful to have another activity my husband and I can both enjoy! We have a great "system"...he ties the flies and I loose them. Works for me!

The 2009 Great Waters Expo was the best ever! I especially enjoyed Brian O'Keef's saltwater presentation.
The casting instruction area also drew a huge number of interested individuals. Hats off to Tom Helgeson and exhibitors for putting together another great show!
